I’m a Head of Marketing for an eCommerce brand by day and a content creator by night (and weekends!), so I approach UGC a little differently. My content is rooted in real life, from motherhood to everyday routines to funny or slightly unhinged moments, and I naturally weave products into those stories in a way that feels organic, not scripted. The content that resonates most with my audience is when I’m telling a real-life story, usually something funny, slightly chaotic, or very in the trenches of motherhood, and then tying a product into that moment in a natural way. It feels like a real experience, not an ad, which is why it performs. I’m newer to UGC, but I’m not new to strategy. I understand what brands need from content that lives on product pages, ads, and social, and I create with that level of thoughtfulness in mind.
